Goosh
Gelem Theatre
Language: Hebrew – almost without words
Ages: 6 and up
Duration: approx. 50 minutes
In a quiet, dark museum, after everyone has left, a lonely night guard remains behind.
His job is simple — to watch over a mysterious work of art: “The Goosh.”
As the night goes on, he arranges the space around the sculpture, fixes its nameplate, and, trying to stay awake, begins a sequence of actions — drumming on his face, playing with sounds, doing yoga poses that resemble the statues surrounding him.
But despite his efforts, drowsiness overcomes him, and he falls asleep.
When he wakes up in alarm, the guard discovers that he is trapped in the museum — all the doors and windows are locked.
Lonely and restless, he turns his gaze to his only remaining companion: the Goosh.
As the night progresses, the guard finds himself in an inexplicable communication with the artwork.
But it’s not only the Block that responds — the entire museum comes to life.
