Artistic Director’s Message

Puppets and More Festival is an artistic creation that grows and transforms from year to year.

We created it to embrace innovation, celebrate the unconventional, and bring fresh perspectives to the world of theatre for children and young audiences—and beyond.

It is no coincidence that we named it “Puppets and More.” We are constantly searching for new artistic territories to explore and develop. In recent years, the festival has expanded into theatre and performance for adults, as well as into the fields of visual and digital arts.

Our festival is a festival of ideas and concepts, built around a different theme each year. Every theme challenges us to discover new works and innovative forms of artistic expression.

The visual environment of the festival is especially important to us. We strive to create an imaginative world that audiences can enter, experience, and spend time in.

This year’s theme is Upside Down & Inside Out.
