A public, hands-on production line where broken and forgotten toys are transformed into new sculptures by visitors.A constant flow of people, materials, and ideas — the feeling of an active, inviting production line where something is always being built.
For three hours, the production line will operate continuously. Visitors are invited to join at any moment, choose raw materials, take them apart, assemble, invent, and create their own sculpture and take home their creation.
Visitors are also invited to bring old toys from home and give them a new life.
An open, ongoing public workshop where broken and forgotten toys are transformed into new sculptures created by the audience. A constant flow of people, materials, and ideas creates the feeling of a lively, welcoming production line, where something is always being made.
For three hours, the production line will operate continuously. Visitors are invited to join at any time, choose materials, take things apart, put them together, invent, and leave with a unique creation of their own. At the same time, visitors are welcome to bring old toys from home and give them a new role in the factory’s cycle of life.
Ir-Mifal is an artistic and social initiative active since 2021, creating participatory art spaces across Israel where broken and forgotten toys are transformed into works of art.
