The KoomKoom Theater is a long-established visual theater in Jerusalem for children and youth. For over 20 years, the theater has created original productions for children of all ages and languages, performing throughout the country and abroad.
In addition to performances, the theater develops interactive theatrical environments that allow for extended visits and family-based creative experiences.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a growing demand from audiences for immersive environments that offer control over stimuli, shared time, duration, and active participation. Children and parents increasingly want to participate in the creative process and become integrated into the experience, rather than simply watch content, regardless of its quality.
Since 2022, the Koom-koom Theater has been creating, initiating, and producing such spaces both at the theater and in various venues across the country. Today, it is a leading source of knowledge in the field of interactive art.
